This OSHA training video covers the basics of fall protection and construction. It includes a summary of OSHA Fall Protection Standards found in 29 CFR Subpart L and various types of fall protection lanyards sometimes called personal fall arrest systems (PFAS). One major topic covered in this video is the OSHA requirements and definitions of fall distance. Failure to understand how OSHA determines fall distance can easily result in fall protection citations.
